Avaya J179 is a phone designed for users who need a number of features and advanced options. The device can be extended with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module. It uses an enterprise IP network to provide sophisticated voice communication from headquarters, distant locations or home offices. It is equipped with large 3.8"color display . It optimizes communication through flexible architecture, which uses existing investment and adapts to changing needs of the organization .

The phone can be used with Avaya Aura®, Avaya IP Office ™ and approved platforms to manage calls from other suppliers. These include RingCentral platforms, 3cx 15.5, Netsapiens 40, Freeswitch 1.8.5, Asterisk 16 and others.
